Deputy Ruth Coppinger asked the Minister for Finance the steps he is taking to ensure that the Central Bank is not acting in violation of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, given that the bank is facilitating the sale of Israeli bonds in EU Member States, despite the International Court of Justice ruling that Israel is plausibly committing genocide and the ongoing South African case at the ICJ which Ireland has joined; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
