Deputy Jim Daly asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the reason no progress has been made since a person (details supplied) in County Cork was approved for the rural cottages scheme in 2007, when the local authority transferred a person's dwelling to its ownership on the basis the authority would construct a new dwelling on site for the applicant; the reason no construction has taken place and no place of residence has been offered to the resident with no home as it was transferred to the local authority; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
