Deputy Alan Kelly asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation if she is concerned with the lack of substantive investigations into cartel activity here by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, CCPC, since its creation, in particular the lack of criminal convictions, despite the increased resources and sanctions provided for by the previous Government; her views that the CCPC is failing as an enforcement agency, in view of the evidence that both price fixing and bid rigging is prevalent in many sectors of the economy.
