90 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Transport the number of samples provided to the MBRS arising from arrests for drink or drug driving in each of the years from 1999 to date in 2006; the number of these samples certified and analysed in each of these years; the number where the sample was defective, where documentation was inadequate or where the process could not be proceeded with due to a procedural fault; the number of such samples found to be over the legal limit for alcohol concentration or with drugs present in each of these years; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
