Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Justice and Equality if the PULSE electronic database used by An Garda Síochána contains a tracking function which displays the name or identifier of each user who accesses or makes alterations to data on the system, and the date and time in each case; if not, the reason for same; if the original design of the database contained this feature and if so, the reason it was removed and the person who requested it to be removed; if there is presently any method of tracking users in this manner; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
