92 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Defence if, in view of his announcement on 28 March 2001 that following successful negotiations between officials from the Departments of Defence and Finance and the military representative associations, agreement has been reached on the amount of an allowance to be paid to all members of the Defence Forces who are directly involved in the foot and mouth operation, he will indicate the number of meetings which were held with each of the representative associations in connection with this matter; the date or dates on which agreement was reached with each of the associations; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
