Deputy Barry Ward asked the Minister for Transport further to Parliamentary Question No. 59746/26, if he will identify the specific provision of those regulations that imposes a penalty on an aircraft operator for failure to cancel CORSIA eligible emissions units as required by Regulation 24(3); and noting that the offences and penalties under Regulation 19, the EPA's power to issue directions under Regulation 14, and the excess emissions penalty under Regulation 20 each apply only to obligations under regulations six, eight, nine and 12 and do not extend to the CORSIA offsetting obligation under regulation 24.
