80 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to the fact that of the 315 social and affordable houses acquired by local authorities under Part V of the Planning and Development Act 2000, 69% were acquired by one local authority and that the majority of local authorities in the country acquired none; his views on whether this situation is satisfactory; the action he intends to take in regard to this matter; if he will give the projected number of houses expected to be acquired by local authorities under Part V in 2005; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
