Broughan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if his Department has monitored and continues to monitor the number of passengers travelling through Dublin Airport compared to other major European cities where the majority of airports have light or heavy rail transport links to city centres; and if the large numbers of passengers travelling through Dublin Airport is being taken into account in developing future modes of transport from Dublin Airport to Dublin city centre, particularly light or heavy rail options.
