96. Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science the discussions he had with the Minister for Health and the Chief Medical Officer in August and September 2020 before a decision was made that third level colleges would reopen on campus; if a full risk analysis was carried out of the risks involved given that these reopenings would bring a large number of students together from many parts of the country thus increasing dramatically the risk of spread nationwide if any students became infected; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
