97. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade the extent to which he remains satisfied that ongoing discussions on Brexit continue to have full regard for Ireland's unique position within the EU and adjoining a neighbouring part of the island of Ireland which is about to leave the European Union; if it continues to be recognised that the Good Friday Agreement remains a commitment by the EU, the Irish and British governments, the people of Northern Ireland and the international nature of the agreement involving the US and the aforementioned countries; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
