Support in education is a vital legal right of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We ask the government to commit to maintaining the existing law, so that vulnerable children with SEND can access education and achieve their potential.
It has been reported that the government is considering making changes to The Children and Families Act 2014, which sets out the legal rights to assessment and statutory support in education for disabled children. We believe that these rights do not only help vulnerable children and their families - they also reduce costs to the state in adulthood. We think that removing statutory obligations on local authorities could mean many children do not get the support they need to reach their potential.

We call on the Government to carry out a review of civic education in secondary schools focusing on increasing the quality and time for key stage 3 and 4 in England. We believe this will help boost youth voter turnout creating a more inclusive society where everyone's voice is heard.
Many young people did not vote in the most recent General Election. We believe education is desperately needed on civic skills in schools to protect democracy and create an inclusive society where the youth have the skills and are encouraged to vote.

Human Trafficking is a serious topic which affects a lot of people, whether they're young or old. We think we need to spread more awareness in the education system because if students don't learn about it, when will they?
We think that introducing this could benefit students who would become more aware of how they should protect themselves and loved ones.
