Summary
That this House congratulates Doros Partasides and his collaborators in the making of the film Crossing the Line; commends the film for its stark portrayal of the tragic effects of the armed invasion of Cyprus in 1974 on the lives of ordinary individuals and families, and the lasting effects on refugees, widows, widowers, orphans and in particular the relatives of the missing; and believes that there could be no clearer demonstration than this documentary record of the meaning of the Cyprus problem and no stronger reminder of the urgent need for its solution.
