Summary
That this House notes with concern that the National Institute for Clinical Excellence may recommend that beta interferon be denied to those people with MS who would benefit from it; recognises that significant numbers of people across the world have benefited from beta interferon; is aware that beta interferon is available in all other major European countries; and calls upon NICE to ensure this treatment is equitably available through the NHS.
