That this House notes with deep regret the tragic death of the legendary Ballymoney, County Antrim motor cycle ace Joey Dunlop OBE in Estonia on 2nd July; acknowledges that Joey was loved and admired by all classes and creeds at home and abroad and that he was a wonderful ambassador for the sport of motor cycle racing internationally and for Northern Ireland wherever he went; acknowledges his lifelong charity work; and notes that all who knew him mourn his passing and extends sincere sympathy to his wife, his children and family circle, sharing their sorrows.
