That this House congratulates successive administrations on Hampshire County Council and the personnel of its recreation department on the 35th anniversary of the decision to create the Calshot Activities Centre in and around the historic hangars of the former RAF flying boat station on the Solent; and recognises the important contribution made by the centre to fostering a spirit of teamwork and adventure in young people as well as acquainting many of them for the first time with out-of-town activities.
