Answer
The maximum vehicle weight for HGV’s was increased in 1993 to 35 tonnes (from 32.5); in 1994 to 38 tonnes; in 1999 to 41 tonnes and in 2001 to 44 tonnes, excluding variations for exemptional circumstances.
