Answer
The remaining life of Tranche 1 Typhoons is governed by a Fatigue Index (FI) limit rather than flying hours. The average FI across the Tranche 1 fleet in service is expected to reach 39 out of a maximum limit of 50 by their planned Out of Service Date.
