Summary
We are asking the government to establish and fund an Emergency Services Trust, similar to the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust, which will provide funding to Emergency Services charities for treatment, rehabilitation and recovery services. We believe that creating a trust and having a grants process for emergency service charities and not-for-profit organisations to apply for funding will reduce long term sickness after injury or illness and better support the emergency services to keep protecting and safeguarding our communities.
