Asylum

Summary

We think people convicted of crimes are claiming asylum, but we think once they are found to have a criminal background they should be immediately deported. We think this could free up the time for what we consider to be genuine cases for asylum. We feel the system is currently overstretched by people who may not be genuine asylum seekers. We think people applying for asylum with a criminal conviction should be immediately removed due to their criminal convictions.
