Summary
We do not want the Government to introduce digital driving licences, and we would like to preserve the card and paper form that already exists as we believe it is sufficient. We believe this could be a slippery slope to compulsory digital ID, etc. We want the Government to stop the introduction of digital driving licences and keep the existing system in place, which we think works well. We believe it would be a cost burden on an already burdened public, and could be the first steps on a slippery slope to compulsory digital ID.
