Summary
We want Parliament to stop the Data (Use and Access) Bill. Concerns have been raised that the Bill could make it easier for personal data to be used without fully informed consent from the data holder. We believe that the Bill could enable increased intrusion of privacy. We do not think that the UK should try to align its laws with the EU now that we have left the EU.
