Summary
We want this Government to enforce sharing arrangements of pre-existing infrastructure & ENSURE THAT ALL DUPLICATE INFRASTRUCTURE IS REMOVED. We believe that current legislation has enabled unacceptable overbuild of telecommunications infrastructure (masts, telegraph poles, cabinets, cabling). We believe that, as a result of the legislation, communities have been overrun with excessive, unnecessary telecommunications infrastructure which is turning OUR country into an industrial wasteland. We believe that these are the consequences of telecommunications OVERBUILD: 1. Industrial eyesores 2. Falling property values 3. No community input 4. Blocked views & sunlight 5. Road hazards & poor visibility 6. Cramped footpaths for pedestrians 7. Noise & community disruption
