Summary
We call on the Government to lower the bowel cancer screening age to 30, and provide funding to ensure all patients with symptoms of bowel cancer are fully and quickly investigated, regardless of age, to help prevent further loss of life due to delayed diagnosis. Bowel cancer is increasing in younger adults and we don't think the current approach reflects this. Early action could save lives.
