Summary
We would like the Government to change the law to enable social services to force visits & gain forced access to the households of non-engaging families, to ensure children’s welfare & living conditions are verified, and to avoid families enduring pain & suffering that many families have experienced We are concerned that there have been instances where non-engaging families have refused home visits for social services to conduct checks on children, which we believe can endanger children.
