Summary
We think a new law should be introduced to ban the use of AI generated models in advertising campaigns of any form; such as in magazines, store front windows, billboards etc. We think the reasons to ban are as follows: 1) Depletion of human expression 2) Further raising beauty standards to something unattainable and could cause or worsen eating disorders. 3) Increasing the wealth gap. We believe rich companies could become richer by removing the need to pay creatives whilst the job market becomes slimmer. We are concerned that AI models could worsen people's mental health due to a lack of expression, human connection and culture. They could also reduce job prospects for models, photographers, set designers and graphic designers.
