Summary
We propose that UK law prohibits adults from entering or interacting with children in designated children's areas, such as playgrounds, unless accompanying at least one child. We know of numerous cases across the UK where children were approached by adults without parental consent. Children can be lured from designated play areas, away from their parents, by such individuals. While the motives are unclear, to ensure children's safety and prevent community unrest, we believe a law should clearly prohibit such behaviour.
