Summary

We want the Government to ban the use of synthetic fragrance chemicals and ambient scenting in public spaces, and introduce mandatory full-ingredient labelling including health risks on all fragranced consumer products. We are concerned that the Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and phthalates in synthetic fragrances could cause harm. Members of the public might face exposure to them in public restrooms, waiting rooms, clinics & supermarket laundry aisles.
