Summary

Those attacked by dogs can be left with fear, nightmares and lasting trauma. Families can face huge gaps in care following dog attacks. We need a national trauma support service so victims aren’t left alone. The Government should create and fund a national support system offering guidance, therapy and recovery so no child, adult or family is left to cope alone.
