HAMDT 170 (105th)
An amendment expressing the sense of Congress that adequate assistance should be provided to Lithuania and Latvia in fiscal year 1998, that assistance to Lithuania should be continued beyond fy 1998, and that the President should consider continuing asistance to Latvia beyond fy 1998, as they continue to build democratic and free market institutions.
