HAMDT 460 (103rd)

An amendment offered as a substitute to the Barrett amendment that would authorize $100 million in FY 1995, and such sums as may be necessary in FY 1996-1999, under the Drug-free Schools and Communities program for governors to use for community-based drug prevention and violence prevention programs. The provision to reserve 20% of funds to be used at the discretion of a state's governor would be eliminated.
