HAMDT 565 (97th)
An amendment to the Latta substitute amendment. The amendment reduces defense outlays by $16.2 billion to a level of $205.8 billion. It also increases revenues by $15 billion in FY '83 from increased user fees and luxury and excise taxes. The amendment makes reductions in interest payments.
