HAMDT 653 (103rd)
An amendment to transfer lending authority from the Farmers Home Administration's (FmHA) direct housing loan program, which finances single-family homes, to the multi-family rural renting housing loan program. The amendment increases the section 515 rural rental housing loan program by $190,000,000, from $30,000,000 up to $220,000,000. Too offset this, the amendment decreases section 502 subsidized single-family housing loans by $76,661,000, from $1,400,000,000 down to $1,323,339,000.
