HAMDT 658 (99th)
An amendment to change the interest rate on consolidated loans during the 11th through 25th year. The bill set the rate at 12 percent. The amendment provides a formula for determining the interest rate: it is to be 12 percent or the average bond equivalent rates of 91 day Treasury bills plus 3.5 percent, whichever is higher.
