HAMDT 763 (100th)
An amendment to decrease funds appropriated for NASA research and development by $400 million and increase funding for such HUD programs as elderly congregate services by $1.6 million, the flexible subsidy program by $30 million, and elderly and handicapped housing by $40 million. The amendment also provides $25 million in supplemental assistance for the homeless and $150 million for Urban Development Action Grants.
