HAMDT 838 (97th)
An amendment to extend until September 30, 1983 (instead of 1982 as in the bill) the economic emergency loan program. The amendment reduces loan caps from $400,000 to $200,000 and from $650,000 to $450,000. And the amendment requires that the loan program be used by the Secretary, instead of leaving its use discretionary.
