SAMDT 2741 (98th)

To provide that whenever the authority conferred by Section 6 (Foreign Policy Controls) is exercised with respect to a country, the President is also authorizedto impose controls on imports from that country to the United States if he determines and reports to the Congress in advance of imposition of such controls, that such controls are consistent with the international obligations of the United States, including the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade.
