Joint resolution relating to the publication of economic and social statistics for Americans of Spanish origin or descent.

Summary

Directs the Department of Labor, in cooperation with the Bureau of the Census, to immediately begin to undertake the collection and compilation of data in order to provide for the monthly publication by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, beginning not later than July 1974, of the nationwide unemployment rate among Americans of Spanish origin or descent; and that the Bureau of the Census and the Department of Labor and the Department of Agriculture undertake further efforts to collect and publish regularly statistics which provide indicators of the social and economic conditions of both urban and rural Mexican Americans, Puerto Ricans, Cubans, and other Americans having Spanish origin or descent.
