Summary

Establishes a Joint Committee on Internal Security to investigate and report on Communist and other subversive activities affecting the internal security of the United States; including activities aimed at overthrowing or altering the form of government in the United States by unlawful means, or inciting or employing violence or any unlawful means to obstruct the lawful authority of the Government. Transfers all property and records of the Internal Security Subcommittee of the Committee on the Judiciary to the Joint Committee on Internal Security.
