Summary
Establishes a Select Joint Committee of the Congress to conduct an investigation and study into methods of significantly simplifying Federal income tax return forms. Directs the committee to report to the Congress the results of its investigation and study, together with such proposals as it deems advisable as soon as practicable during the present Congress, but not later than the latest date that such proposal may be implemented for taxable years ending in 1974. Provides that the committee shall cease to exist at the close of the first session of the Ninety-fourth Congress.
