Summary
Provides that employees separated from Government service after age 50, who have completed 20 years of service as law enforcement officials, firefighters, or mine inspectors (or any combination of such service totaling at least 20 years) are entitled to an annuity. Deletes the condition that the head of the agency recommend retirement and that the Civil Service Commission approve that recommendation. (Amends 5 U.S.C. 8336(c))
