Summary

Provides that, for purposes of the civil service retirement system, cost-of-living adjustments allowed to officers and employees of the Postal Service shall be considered to be part of the basic pay of such officers and employees. Makes the provisions of this Act effective for cost-of-living adjustments occuring after June 30, 1972. Allows an employee who separated from service after such date to obtain recomputation of his annuity in accordance with the provisions of this Act. (Amends 5 U.S.C. 8331(3))
