Summary

Dam Inspection Act - Directs the Secretary of the Army, acting through the Chief of Engineers, to inventory and inspect all dams in the United States. Sets forth procedures for such inspections. Directs the Secretary to notify the Governor of the State involved of any hazardous condition which is discovered. Requires the Secretary to furnish technical and financial assistance and training for the establishment of Federal and State dam safety programs. Authorizes the establishment of a Dam Safety Review Board to review dam safety and inspection procedures and standards. Directs the Secretary to study dam inspection techniques. Authorizes appropriations through fiscal year 1982 to carry out this Act.
