Summary

Amends the United States Housing Act of 1937 to authorize the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development to make assistance payments for the purpose of aiding any lower-income family in making rental payments with respect to real property on which is located a mobile home owned by such family and utilized by such family as its principal place of residence. Amends the Housing Authorization Act of 1976 to direct the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare to disregard the value of housing assistance under any State program in determining the eligibility of, or the amount of benefits payable to, any person under Title XVI (Supplemental Security Income for the Aged, Blind, and Disabled) of the Social Security Act.
