Summary
Child Abuse and Protective Service Amendments - Requires that State plans for aid and services to needy families with children under the Social Security Act must provide such multidisciplinary (medical, legal, social, and other) services as are necessary for the following purposes: identification, investigation, and response to incidents or evidence of neglect, abuse or exploitation of a child; helping parents and other to recognize the causes thereof and strengthing the ability of families to provide acceptable care; or if that is not possible, bringing the situation to the attention of appropriate courts or law enforcement agencies, furnishing relevant data, and providing followup services as directed by the court.
