Summary

Provides, under the D.C. code, that in the District of Columbia sales of food or beverages to any person for use in the operation, by a nonprofit private voluntary organization, of a nonprofit food service program and sales of such food or beverages by such person in connection with such program shall be exempt from the imposition of the sales tax.
