Summary

Employment Opportunity and Inflation Reduction Policy Act - Title I: Establishment of a Presidential Task Force on Youth Unemployment - Establishes in the Executive Office of the President a Presidential Task Force on Youth Unemployment. Specifies the duties of the Task Force including identification of the labor market problems of youth and determination of the impact of certain Federal programs and the public education system on youth labor problems. Directs the Task Force to report its findings and make recommendations relative to reducing generally youth unemployment, changing tax and fiscal policy, and amending specified Federal programs. Directs the President to report on the desirability and feasibility of implementing Task Force recommendations. Designates a goal for both minority youth unemployment and youth unemployment in general. Title II: Amendments to the Employment Act of 1946 - Amends the Employment Act of 1946 to require the President to include in his annual Economic Report an assessment of the effects of inflation on the income tax structure and marginal tax rates. Requires that the Council of Economic Advisers gather information and develop a program in order to perform such an assessment.
