Summary

Provides retirement annuities for widows of members of the uniformed services who died before the effective date of the Survivor Benefit Plan. States that any individual who on or before September 21, 1972, was a widow of an eligible person who was entitled to retired or retainer pay when he died, or the contingency option plan, may elect to receive, in lieu of such annuity, the annuity provided for in this Act. Prescribes the procedures for calculation of such annuity.
