Summary
State and Local Predatory Towing Enforcement Act - Amends Federal transportation law to allow States or local governments to regulate tow truck operations performed without the prior consent of the owner or operator of a motor vehicle. (Currently State and local governments are allowed to regulate only the price of for-hire motor vehicle transportation by a tow truck performed without the prior consent or authorization of the motor vehicle's owner or operator.)
