Summary

Increases the penalties for using or carrying a firearm in the commission of a felony, subjecting anyone convicted of such offense to a term of imprisonment not less than two years nor more than ten years, such punishment to be imposed in addition to the punishment provided for such felony. Increases, in the case of a second or subsequent conviction for such offense, the term of imprisonment to not less than ten nor more than thirty years. Stipulates that the court may not suspend the sentence whenever such offense results in conviction. (Amends 18 U.S.C. 924(c))
